The PayGood merchant onboarding flow lets you bring new merchants onto the platform. Each merchant goes through a Know Your Business (KYB) application before they can process live payments. Once approved, the merchant is activated and ready to accept payments through PayGood.

Onboarding stages

Work through each stage in order. Later steps depend on the application id returned when you create the draft.
  1. Create a draft application — Open a new application for the merchant and receive an application ID.
  2. Fill in the business profile — Provide legal name, business type, email, and registered address.
  3. Add beneficial owners — Supply identity information for every individual who owns more than 25% of the business.
  4. Add payout accounts — Link the bank account where PayGood will settle funds.
  5. Provide underwriting data — Share estimated processing volumes and a description of the merchant’s business.
  6. Submit for review — Send the completed application to PayGood’s underwriting team.
  7. Approval and activation — Once approved, the merchant account is activated and live payment processing can begin.
